The Mission

The Mission | Austin Mathis | 10:30 a.m.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations..." (Matthew 28:16–20) — In the closing commission of Matthew's Gospel, Jesus gathers His followers not to conclude a story, but to launch a mission. He affirms His authority over heaven and earth, calls the church to active discipleship, and promises His continual presence: "I am with you always, to the end of the age." This passage challenges us to move from comfortable worship into faithful witness — teaching, baptizing, and forming disciples in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As a community in Brandon, we are invited to live out this Great Commission in everyday relationships, local ministries, and across cultural boundaries, trusting that Christ walks with us as we obey. Join us as we explore how to be a praying, teaching, and multiplying people who carry Jesus’ presence into our neighborhood and beyond.
