This sermon explores how the opening account of humanity in Genesis shapes both who we are and what we are called to do. We will examine three truths from the text: (1) Imago Dei — our identity as bearers of God’s image, which grounds our dignity and worth; (2) Dominion and stewardship — our vocation to care for and cultivate creation in partnership with the Creator; and (3) Blessing and responsibility — the blessing God gives and the ethical life that follows. Practical applications will help listeners live out image-bearing identity in relationships, work, and community service, aligning daily choices with God’s purposes for creation.
