Do You Know Jesus?

Do You Know Jesus? | PJ Keen | 10:30 a.m.

When Lazarus died, his sisters and friends faced a question every grieving heart must answer: who is Jesus to me? In John 11, Jesus meets mourning with compassion, mystery, and power. He weeps with Mary and Martha, yet he declares, “I am the resurrection and the life.” That claim forces us beyond abstract belief into personal knowledge. Do we know Jesus as a comforter who enters our sorrow, as the Lord who has power over death, and as the friend who calls us out of the tombs that bind us?

This sermon will invite us to move from familiarity to encounter. We’ll explore how Jesus’ timing challenges our expectations, how his tears validate our pain, and how his voice demands trust even when hope seems gone. Come prepared to examine where you place your hope in life’s losses and to hear the call to trust Christ as the source of true life.
