A Life Rooted in Christ — Colossians 2:6-10
When we accept Christ, we begin a life that must be lived—rooted, built up, and standing firm in him. In Colossians 2:6-10 Paul calls us to continue walking in Christ, rooted in the faith we received, and overflowing with thankfulness. This message will explore what it looks like to:
Live deliberately in Jesus, not merely as a one-time decision but as an ongoing posture of dependence and obedience.
Be rooted and built up in him, allowing Scripture, prayer, and community to deepen our spiritual growth so we are not easily swayed by shallow teachings.
Embrace fullness in Christ, recognizing that all spiritual riches and authority belong to him and guard us against substitutes that promise life but leave us empty.
Join us as we examine practical steps for daily growth—how to nurture roots that survive storms, how to identify and resist counterfeit beliefs, and how to live with the confidence that Christ is head over all. Leave encouraged to continue walking in him, rooted in the faith, and abounding in thankfulness.
