Pre-School & Children

The Children’s Ministry of Brandon Baptist Church is designed help children from birth through the sixth grade grow in their understanding of God’s love for them. Our desire for preschoolers is to help them associate God, Jesus, and the Bible with happy feelings; for them to think of church as a happy place; to lay a secure foundation in the preschool years that will lead to acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior; and to support parents in their roles as the primary teachers of their children. As children progress to the elementary years, our purpose is to help each child grow in their understanding and come to accept Christ as Savior; to learn that God has a plan for homes as a place of love and security; and to begin thinking of others and adjusting to their needs and interests; to learn about and participate in Missions and sharing the Gospel. Every child from birth through 6th grade has a place in Sunday School where teachers are prepared to teach them biblical truths on their level of development and understanding. Through Mission organizations (Mission Friends for preschoolers; RA’s and GA’s for elementary children), boys and girls are learning about missions and how they can do missions where they live. Bible Buddies and Bible Drill, designed for children from first through sixth grades, allows boys and girls to learn the books of the Bible, memorize Bible verses, learn about Key Passages, and learn how to use their Bibles. God’s most precious gift to parents is a child. The desire of Brandon Baptist Church is to partner with parents to help each child grow physically, socially and emotionally, as well as spiritually.
