Missions

Brandon Baptist is among those who believe that a church without missions is a church without a mission! From the very beginning, BBC allocated a significant portion of its budget to the Cooperative Program, the lifeline of support for Southern Baptist Missionaries around the world. Besides special offerings to special SBC mission funds promoted by our Woman's Missionary Union groups, our congregation is heavily involved in hands-on missions. Each summer, our Men's Brotherhood, in conjunction with the Mississippi Nail Benders, spearheads a construction mission trip to some special project in the continental United States. Besides that, BBC has been in the vanguard of support for the Romanian¬ American Missions, a national missionary agency involved in Eastern Europe that is involved in evangelistic missions, church planting, church building, medical care for the poor, a training center for missionaries, and a ministry to homeless children. Mission trips to Romania are conducted several times a year for those who desire to serve Christ across the seas.
